The Philippine Institute for Independent Research launches its public website at piir.ph. This marks the beginning of our public presence as we build toward our first research wave. The website introduces our mission, research pillars, and methodology framework. We invite researchers, potential partners, and interested stakeholders to explore our plans and get in touch.
We have published our initial methodology framework, detailing our multi-stage probability sampling design, survey structure, quality control procedures, and transparency commitments. The framework follows AAPOR Transparency Initiative standards and draws on best practices from the Eurobarometer and CBS Netherlands. We welcome peer review and feedback from the research community.
PIIR is now recruiting advisory board members from Philippine and international academic institutions. We are looking for experts in statistics, survey methodology, economics, political science, public health, and digital technology. The advisory board will provide methodological oversight and ensure the highest standards of research quality. Interested academics are invited to reach out via our contact page.
